Shopping spree and the Shopaholic(s) ;) wink! wink!
Let me take you through the shopping streets of Sydney.. may it be the Chinese Markets popularly known as the Paddy markets (Paddington markets) where you can buy ANYTHING – can u imagine a Louis Vuitton or a Prada or a D&G with the logo (ofcourse stuck outside :P ) but still for a bargain price of 25$. Does it sound astonishing? Hmm its not exaggeration.. tats how it is.. n forget conversions once u get into such markets.. Obviously its big money in INR but for them a tee or a cardigan for 5bucks.. sounds damn cheap huh?? And the shoes u get omg trust me.. I haven’t seen shoes in candy shades… purply pink, smoky blue or a fluorescent green... u cant help but jus blink as the shades r tat strong to keep ur eye lids open.. :D..and all te cute lil stuff they hav from a cigar lighter to a key ring or a backpack to glares/caps , skateboard’s –u have it all in one place. but ya people prefer tis place jus for BULK purchases :D come on guys its cheap… ;)
If u hav experienced, it’s too hard to bargain wit the chinkis (Chinese/Japanese/Koreans) . even for a cent they wil tell a big fat “NOOO”..(adopted from the Russell Peters show ;) – still it’s a fact :D ) n to get them understand wat u mean.. aah forget it.. it’s a big pain in the ass !! so u better agree to their price.. which I shud admit, is pretty reasonable.. and gals.. cosmetics here are awesome..u get hell lot of stuff for jus peanuts ;) and u all must hav imagined and known.. Makeover n makeup is a MUST in Oz.. even to drop a garbage bag.. u must b wit compact n blush and ya eye shades n lip shades as an add-on :D else u feel kinda out of place.. Hmmm… applies anywhere I guess… DRESS UP & SHOW UP.. rest all is jus a continuation of these two !! :P
OK here comes the big thing… the MYERS, PANDORA, QVB, OPAL stores,DFO not to forget the Westfield’s’ and CENTRE-s- they are shopping malls in almost all the main suburbs…
Suburbs…ok I am not deviating from the main story.. but 1st lemme put some gyan on the topography of Oz – NSW in particular. NSW- New South Wales is the state with Sydney as its main City of attraction. Sydney has been broadly divided into suburbs-CBD, SOP, Strathfield, Rhodes, Sevenhills...to name a few, basically lot of hill’s,field’s,wood’s and sham’s ;) . CBD is the main City – Darling Harbour, Opera House, and The Rocks,QVB(Queen Victoria Building) adding glory to the most happening place. Major attractions include ferrying from the harbour to the surrounding beaches – Manly, Bondi and also to the Parramatta river, then pubs, movies, clubs and shops J
Back to shopping.. n shopping places..
MYERS is considered to be the biggest branded shop where u can find almost all the popular brands from Jimmy choo to Chanel or from Gucci to Burberry… which u can gaze at but think zillion times to afford one… sorry to concentrate mainly on girlish brands guys ;) PANDORA is a brand which basically designs jewellery with different colored, shaped and sized beads n strings, mostly in silver. Looks awesome but at the same time pretty expensive (haven’t gotta chance to buy one yet L )
QVB aka Queen Victoria Building is well known for its historical value and also the types of huge clocks they have. Mainly 2 clocks and each of them are designed differently and very artistic I shud say.QVB also described as the “most beautiful shopping centre in the world” by Pierre Cardin, a shopping paradise- has many shops of major brands – GUESS, FOSSIL, ESPIRIT to name a few. Most of u must b knowing Oz gold, corals and opals r famous, as they considered to b the purest at the same time expensive.. so we hav a lot of opal and pearl stores…all cute n beautiful .last but not to b excluded.. the DFOs – Direct factory outlets.. replica of our Brand factory or Coupon, but u get to buy more stuff at te same time cheap deals J

SYD Days -Part1
Kickoff the day wit a Moffee.. I cant call it a mocha coz its jus 2scoops of choc powder n 2 spoons of sugar added to cappuccino. oh yea I started drinking coffee L sigh !! sob!! Hot n wet days in Sydney (may it b SUMMER or AUTUMN ;)) and my craving for chocolates made me jump out today too to grab my twin bar of Mars. (MARS DARK CHOC limited edition- to b specific) ;) n listening to the songs in my Ipod.. lil desi and LP to mix up the blend of my moods and the weather outside.. Jus roamed around aloof n unnoticed…its good b tat way sometimes :D even if it deprives me of the chances of being.. “a gossip monger”.. “a mobile radio”.. ahem ahem I hate flattery.. :P but somedays I feel I am quite punished to b made to sit quiet… see its life… n everything is fair..i consoled myself .. ;) jus sit bak n njoi n feel how its to b silent .. hmmm… it’s a different feeling :D Unlike my last onsite n US trip.. I guess tis is the 1st time I am staying away from home for this long… err.. for me its long :D … njoig the extra freedom added to my already more than independent life.. As if adding more chocolate syrup n whipped cream to an extra double scoop of ice-cream to make it better or worse?? Tat time wil decide :P
OK guys enuf of my teensy weensy talks…lemme tel u abt Sydney… I wud describe it as the most romantic place… wit gr8 n beautiful people n heartsJ, the Valentines Days’ added gilts n glows to tis place… the land of amazing beaches… clear blue skies (Unless cloudy!!) n yaa above all tat gorgeous gals n handsome guys :D tat makes Sydney the most happening place than Melbourne and Brisbane.… leave apart the racism stories.. I personally found the people here to b decent, nice n kind…n well mannered as in any foreign country..Getg used to the privacy, space n formality factors which sounded really alien to a certain extent among friends atleast... give n take is a part n parcel of life.. so y not b considerate n respect these factors too.. but no lack of fun too… folks here r pretty chilled out n ready for anything types… u name it.. sports or parties.. not to mention the extensive wildlife Oz has.. Hmmm not sure abt wildlife but v get to see all kinds of insects n reptiles…in all colors n sizes…scary K !!!!
hehe do I sound like an official guide…tis may go a lil longer n ya different parts too..…as I am having a loads of fun n I wanna disturb u guys as its been a while..so all in detail…read on..
@ work… as its one woman show from satyam… and 2 other senior managers from client side… my age is their experience in IT so it sometimes gives me a feel of being too naive at te same time the privilege of acting kiddish too.. may it b teasing around or loafing around…coming late n leaving early… hav had many situations wit all the managers pouncing on me for a solution tat too within 15min of a prod server issue… :S

Relationships.. & Breakups..
A recent survey conducted on love, relations and breakups explains majority of the relations doesn’t reach the next level and end up in tears.. either gal dumping a guy or vice versa. Lately people are supposed to be in casual relations and they end up losing interest and move away from the person who was close to them, saddest part is; it’s a slow process hence doesn’t let the other person, the counterpart in the relation to understand or realize what’s happening… coz u never know.. Nor is it taught in any schools or classrooms.. Relationship psychology it’s different…it’s complex and simple at the same time. Depends on how you pursue it. So people who get these signs act wisely, but believe me that crowd percentage is very less, only those people who have faced these relationship breakups or issues before, people who knew their mistakes and taken steps or alteast turned pretentious to show they have changed or they are clear and wont mess up this time. For the entire fresher crowd they act too naïve and ofcourse screw it up at some point, if they end up with a manipulative partner or a time pass partner as I would put it. Too many fish in the Sea is the common notion that drives through every brain who is in a relation or who is just out if it. But ask someone who is still single or never been in any relation- they may put it like- “it seems like I am trying to fish when its drought; no fish anywhere and my germs (sperms) are going waste!!”

Let men come from Mars or women from the Venus and maybe the chromosome count of females is more than males that may make them more emotional and expressive too. I won’t agree it to 100% coz I feel even men are not without feelings but they are pretty straight forward mostly, unless they purposely want to trick you. All the other times things turn out to be bad mainly coz the guy n gal think in two different ways about a thing. basically women (includes me too), we think a lot even for the smallest issues we take them as if world war IV is coming up and start feeling our issues are to be considered as the most critical issue in the whole world. Whatever may happen across, we don’t care. Sometimes this makes women turn too demanding. But they feel so pathetic about themselves; feel they are not getting attention, but never try to sit and think why and the reasons which led to it and ya even if they think, it will be in the reverse order. Most women commit this mistake of over commitment-that is the first step of a relation to get ruined. We fail to understand when we over do, it gets sceptical and the fellow being pushes back. Hardly does any woman get this sign and signal that, what she’s doing is wrong and it does workout very well, but in the exact opposite way. And finally one day she gets dumped, and then she does more things to make it worse and eventually its over - the relation.
Same is with men; where in women think a lot, men on the other side think a lot too, but in a different angle. They become too possessive and demanding, some may turn to be a nightmare worse than your most hated manager by being so stalking, controlling so that eventually you just want to run away from that person and forget about the relation, it turns to be a problem and you foresee and push back. But men never give up unless women. When women sit and cry and demand attention as in demanding mercy, men demand attention by showing their strength and power. Women in these stories tolerate to a great extent coz the “LOVE”,” Sentiments” factor prevails. But in due course she feels punished this way, and she leaves. Men don’t stop either, they start persuading his lady, try to forcefully possess her, abuse her, coax her (as a last resort). But what he doesn’t see is LOVE is lost and its dead. And this state is never going to change unless he changes himself and tries to be normal. Another factor about men is that they don’t value something which they get so easily and is available to them; women basically value people to a certain extent unless it’s tiring for them. The taken for granted part is prominent in men and they always seek the impossible and unapproachable. Not many men will deny this statement.
There is a statement- it’s hard to please a man and a woman at the same time .Reason is- things that please them are different. Woman can be pleased by a piece of Jewellery, but for a man if he has fallen apart, he needs another lady itself to get pleased and attracted. Happens in more than 80% cases. So I would like to conclude herewith a statement – Be yourself and never lose you for anyone. Changes are for good if they are good changes. Value the fellow beings, their time, their space and their attributes .Be understanding as well as considerate.
